Job Description

Job Title: Strategy and Business Analytics Associate (TBD)

Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategy and Business Analytics Associate to join our Global Analytical Center team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting strategic engagement and data analytics and visualization tasks, including business-as-usual monthly recurring activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy-related responsibilities:

Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis to inform business decisions
Assist in state of market assessments and strategy development
Create presentations to communicate insights and recommendations
Provide recurring reporting and analysis support
Profile companies of interest (e.g. potential vendors or partners)

Data analytics and visualization:

Assist in developing new ETL processes using Alteryx to support our reporting needs
Reconcile data from multiple sources, investigate exceptions, and resolve data discrepancies
Design, develop and maintain Tableau and PowerBI dashboards for effective data storytelling

Business support:

Perform monthly data collection and processing using Alteryx and various other tools, databases and dashboards (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, Databricks, SQL Server).
Assist with preparation and maintenance of relevant PowerPoint decks and other reporting deliverables.
Support ad hoc requests and special projects as needed

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills & strategic thinking abilities
Excellent technical and business acumen and prior experience in data preparation and visualization, with expertise in Alteryx and Tableau or PowerBI
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (including PowerPivot experience desired)
Investigative and analytical mindset with attention to detail
Basic proficiency in databases and SQL

Preferred qualifications:

2-4 years of experience working with Alteryx and/or Tableau for data extraction, transformation, and visualization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
