Production and Vendor Manager

As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Production and Vendor Manager to build and optimize our production network, ensuring seamless operations and high standards.

Role Overview:

The Production and Vendor Manager will play a critical role in sourcing vendors, overseeing production, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience in vendor management, supply chain coordination, and production, ideally within the furniture or manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Sourcing & Management:
  
• Identify, negotiate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Evaluate and monitor vendor performance against quality and delivery standards.
• Lead sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
• Production Oversight:
  
• Manage the end-to-end production process to ensure quality consistency.
• Develop and track production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Proactively resolve any production-related challenges.
• Quality Assurance:
  
• Implement quality control checks at key production stages.
• Ensure strict adherence to design specifications and product quality standards.
• Cost Control:
  
• Optimize production costs without compromising on quality.
• Oversee procurement and production budgets.
• Logistics Coordination:
  
• Partner with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Reporting:
  
• Provide regular updates on production timelines, vendor performance, and cost management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procurement and production activities.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management and production oversight, ideally in the furniture industry.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, materials, and logistics in furniture manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Strong understanding of contracts, compliance, and due diligence.
