SAP BI/BO Consultant - E2E Implementation (3-8 yrs)

Job Title : SAP Business Intelligence (BI/BO) Consultant

Qualification :

B.Tech./B.E./MCA/MBA/Graduation or equivalent

- SAP BW/4HANA certification preferred OR a minimum of 1 year of experience in SAP BW/4HANA with BO.

Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP BI/BO module in client environments

Key Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP BW/BO, including data modeling, extraction, transformation, and reporting

- Hands-on experience with InfoCubes, InfoObjects, ODS Objects, DataSources, Process Chains, and ETL processes

- Proficiency in BEx Analyzer, Query Designer, Web Application Designer (WAD), and BI Dashboards

- Experience in activating and enhancing Business Content, Data Source Enhancement, and Data Extraction

- Strong debugging skills, including ABAP routines, system authorization issues, and troubleshooting

- Expertise in optimizing system performance, query execution, and data load processes

- Experience in Generic Data Extraction using Functional Modules, Views, DB Connect, and Flat Files

- Knowledge of SAP functional modules (SD, MM, FI-CO) for data extraction

- Ability to manage Transport Management System (TMS) and system upgrades

- Strong documentation, user training, and change management capabilities

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Conduct GAP analysis and Data Mapping as per management requirements

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW objects, including InfoCubes, DataSources, Transformations, and Process Chains

- Perform ETL activities for data extraction from various SAP modules and external sources

- Develop and publish BI reports using Web Reporting tools and BEx Analyzer

- Optimize BI system performance through tuning, indexing, compression, and data aggregation

- Ensure seamless end-to-end SAP BW implementation and reporting

- Monitor and resolve issues related to failed data loads, process chains, and query execution

- Develop and enhance BI Dashboards and reporting functionalities

- Work closely with ABAP developers for custom enhancements and debugging support

- Manage Transport Management System (TMS) and troubleshoot transport failures

- Provide end-user training and update training manuals to ensure 100% adoption of BI reports

- Collaborate with the Basis team to resolve technical issues related to system performance and

tablespace

- Plan and implement BI system upgrades following best practices

- Assist in functional/technical troubleshooting and provide resolutions

- Conduct capacity building and change management at various business units

- Support senior management with necessary BI reports and risk mitigation plans
