Roles and Responsibilities :.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Manage email backup systems, ensuring that users' emails are regularly backed up and accessible for recovery when needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and user accounts.
- Respond to service desk tickets, phone calls, and emails in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless system upgrades, patches, and deployments.
- Assist in setting up and configuring new desktop systems for employees, including imaging and software installation.
- Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications, hardware, and best practices.
- Perform regular hardware maintenance, including diagnostics and repairs on desktops and laptops.
- Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and system configurations within the IT ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies by managing user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity issues, including VPN and Wi-Fi problems.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
