Integration Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions using middleware/API management technologies while ensuring that the solution meets the needs of the business and is aligned with best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements. Developing technical architectures and solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
• Ensuring that solutions are scalable, resilient, and highly available to meet customer needs. Providing guidance and technical leadership to other team members. Staying up to date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
• Participating in the development of best practices and standards for cloud solution development and implementation.
• Oversee and manage application integration to ensure high availability and performance. Develop and maintain robust and scalable application architectures.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure applications run efficiently. Identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills:

• Integration (IBM/Mule/AIS or any other tool), API gateway (Kong/Apigee or any other), Java/Python/Nodejs, Microservices, Kafka, any cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• 15+ of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years as an Architect into multiple integration platforms (iPaaS) with focus on diverse API management platforms such as Apigee, KONG or AWS.
• Excellent knowledge on Java, microservices, AWS/Azure cloud, Kafka .
• Candidate must be able to define solutions for API based integration by building RESTful web services Experience in design, develop and deploy the business's core applications as microservices based containerized solution empowered with event driven architecture .
• Experience working on Hybrid cloud environment with one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google preferred) is a strong plus Strong presales experience in defining solution architecture, costing models.

Worked on more than 1 integration platform where one of them must be IBM (API connect, IBM ACE, IIB, IBM MQ), Confluent Kafka, Microservices with pre-sales experience .
