Windchill Test Engineer - Manual Testing (2-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Windchill Test Engineer with expertise in Windchill manual testing, automation testing using Selenium, and proficiency in Core Java.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Windchill and a proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of PLM systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Windchill Testing :

- Perform manual testing of Windchill applications to validate functional and non-functional requirements.

- Conduct integration, regression, and system testing for Windchill implementations and upgrades.

- Create, execute, and manage test cases specific to Windchill functionalities, including BOM management, change management, and CAD data management.

2 Automation Testing :

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Core Java to ensure efficient test coverage.

- Maintain and enhance the existing automation frameworks for scalability and robustness.

Defect Management :

- Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes.

Documentation :

- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.

- Ensure proper documentation of test scenarios, results, and defects for future reference.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Provide feedback on potential risks and improvements to enhance the quality of the Windchill platform.

Must-Have Skills :

Windchill Testing: Strong functional knowledge of Windchill PLM, including manual testing.

Core Java: Proficiency in Core Java for scripting and automation.

Selenium: Expertise in Selenium for automated test case development and execution.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.

- Understanding of PLM workflows, CAD integrations, and configuration management.

- Experience in API testing and using tools like Postman.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2 to 7 years of experience in Windchill manual testing, Core Java, and Selenium.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
