Automation Test Engineer - Robot Framework (6-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Robot Automation Framework (RAF) for API testing or Selenium for UI testing.

- Enhance and extend existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.

- Develop comprehensive automated test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.

- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and integration testing.

- Develop and execute automated API tests using RAF or similar tools.

- Validate API responses, data integrity, and performance.

- Develop and execute automated UI tests using Selenium.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.

- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Communicate test results and defect reports effectively. -

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Contribute to the development of test plans and test strategies.

- Estimate testing effort and timelines.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Automation Testing using Robot Automation Framework (RAF) for API testing OR Selenium for UI testing.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language : Java or Python.

- Experience writing and executing SQL queries.

- Knowledge of test automation tools like TOSCA or Ranorex.

- Experience working within the banking domain.
