Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Our Lead Machine Learning Engineer ensures Code and Theory delivers innovative, immersive web experiences that delight our clients and their customers. Working in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary engineering, design, and quality assurance teams, you will build software that solves real-world problems for incredible clients.

As a machine learning engineer at Code and Theory, youll be in a high-visibility role, working with all sorts of clients both internally and externally to deliver scalable, precise, and most importantly – interesting machine learning solutions. Our work stretches from audience segmentation to dynamic content generation, from spell-checking to large language modelling

and beyond.

Essentials:

• Strong experience hosting and maintaining ML models via cloud services, on-prem, and within highly regulated sectors.
• Expertise in constructing and using APIs, particularly for model inference.
• Deep familiarity with multiple cloud computing platforms, showcasing versatility.
• Proven experience designing system architectures and scaling ML deployments in a cost-efficient manner.
• Proficiency in Terraform or another Infrastructure as a Code tool for data transformation and/or model inference builds.
• Strong skills in Python SDK development and design.
• Deep familiarity with PyTorch, Tensorflow and/or HuggingFace Transformers.
• Experience hosting LLMs and other transformer architectures.
• It nice to have: experience with CUDA, compilers and/or security and cryptography.
• We’ll be interested to speak with you if: you have deployed LLMs or diffusers in high-traffic environments.
