AWS/GCP/Azure API Management

Role & responsibilities

Look for candidates with Mulesoft API platform experience preferably, else similar skills i.e., AWS/Azure/ Apigee.

Provides end-to-end delivery of cloud-native applications/services, which help with the strategic vision for scaling and growth. Leads technical direction of public cloud projects to address business needs and lead these projects to successful implementation. Collaborate with customers and partner teams to address specific cloud security and compliance challenges. Improve existing processes and/or develop new processes to improve efficiency where needed. Leads the interaction and coordination among several different groups within the product development lifecycle including Operations, Development, QA, Support, and business teams. Participates in the Agile Scrum process for prioritizing tasks, planning work and delivering acceptable features on-time and under budget.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on providing research, development and implementation of applications/integrations built using cloud-native services and the infrastructure required to host them.
• Coordinates requirements gathering, solution design sessions, implementation plans and Proofs of Concepts.
• Follow the team's standards to create and manage an automated DevOps release management pipeline which delivers tooling for next generation application development efforts (the Dev) and on-going production operations (the Ops). Cultivate a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery mind set.
• Analyzes and stays current on emerging technologies in public cloud and influences direction of project solutions.
• Continue pursuit of knowledge of automation tools, configuration management tools, and infrastructure management tools through seminars, webinars, technical publications, and product evaluations.
• Responsible for the design and development using the latest software and tools.
• Be a trusted automation. Cloud integration and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in enterprise technology application development
• Knowledge of API Management Platforms and Core Frameworks (Mulesoft, Mulesoft Anypoint, Apigee, etc)
• Intermediate proficiency with database operations and queries (e.g. RDS, Mysql, DynamoDB);
• Experience working within DevOps environments automating software deployment and release (git, gitlab, CircleCL,etc)

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Public Cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
• Public Cloud certifications preferred (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)xpHi
• Intermediate knowledge of networking, firewalls, and loadbalancers
• Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
