Role & responsibilities

Duties and responsibilitiesList the primary job duties and responsibilities using headings and then give examples of the types of activities under each heading. 1. MIS & BRM  -  Ensuring the MIS for the Country is prepared, reviewed and submitted on time/ Inputs for BRM & related queries need to be resolved before 7th.2. Statutory Audit  Getting the Audit Financial statement of all the subsidiaries before 31st May 20253. Risk Management Ensuring the accuracy and timely submissions to Risk office reports on weekly basis4. Review of accounts Review of Monthly Trial Balance Review / Quarterly TB Review and related reconciliation for control accounts and sharing the Action points/ Minutes to Corporate office before 25th of following month5.  Implementation of SOP – Actively participating & implementing the accounting policy and SOPs aligning the same with future finance strategies.6. Alignment between PAR vs SAP:  To align  between SAP reports and Profitability reports and re-engineering the existing process to eliminate the difference7. Tax Digilocker :  Establishing Shared folder to update the Monthly Tax returns, Compliances, Notices, Yearly for SG and other companies/ Monitoring the same on monthly basis/ maintaining the control sheet for Tax assessments & Notices8. Repository System: To implement the Robust Repository system to store & retrieve all the supportings of Singapore, and other companies forming part of Back office and review the same on timely basis.9. Regular process audits to ensure laid down procedures and adhered & share the reports10. SAP Auto reports :  To initiate the process of Record to Report  for at  Singapore in SAP11. Credit risk & control – Review and submission of weekly Exposure & risk reports12. Working closely with  Treasury and Product team to reduce the Finance cost/ effective utilization of working capital13. Calculation of Cyle time, Optimization of Fund Usage, Preparation of improvement plans14. Capex Review/CIRC Policy implementation15. Project Management / Timely completion16. Implementation of fixed asset verification policy & Fixed asset verification reports17. Overhead Analysis – Monthly submission of overhead analysis before 8th of the following month including ROY figures18. Dealing with Bankers and Government Agencies ( Tracker needs to be maintained)19. Submission of Management Accounts to Banks & External agencies / monitoring  the Financial covenants agreed with Lenders20. ensuring the Board process and Board pack, meetings are per Statutory timelines21. Tax action plan - Ensuring the Monthly compliances, updation of Tax Digi locker & yearly tax planning.22. Developing action plan for optmizing the resources and developing future ready team.23. Gap identification & Training

Preferred candidate profile

Education: - CA with 8-10 years of experience.Specialized knowledge-Accounts, Finance, taxation, BankingSkills-SAP Knowledge
