Plant Head - Manufacturing (20-30 yrs)

We are looking for a Plant Head for Bhiwadi for Faucets and Sanitation department for Jaquar. Anyone with faucets or sanitation or tiles or ceramics or paint industry will do.

Age: Minimum 50 max 55

Job Summary:

- The Plant Head will oversee the daily operations of the Faucets & Essco Sanitation manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for managing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, meeting safety standards, and achieving operational targets. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong technical expertise in systems and a solid background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

- Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from material procurement to production and final assembly.

- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production goals in terms of volume, quality, and cost.

- Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize plant productivity.

- Ensure that production aligns with the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead and motivate a team of production managers, supervisors, and plant workers to achieve high levels of performance.

- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the plant.

- Mentor and train team members, ensuring proper skill development and succession planning.

Continuous Improvement:

- Implement lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.

- Identify bottlenecks and work on process optimization to improve throughput and production reliability.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.

- Lead plant safety programs and conduct regular safety audits to prevent accidents and injuries.

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, especially those related to HVAC and Heat pump manufacturing.

Budget & Cost Control:

- Manage the plant's budget and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising on quality and safety.

- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving initiatives.

- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, including KPIs, budgets, and cost analyses.

Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.

- Implement robust quality control measures and address any quality issues in a timely manner.

Technology & Innovation:

- Stay updated with the latest technology and trends in the HVAC and Heat pump industry.

- Collaborate with the engineering and R&D teams to implement new technologies or processes that can improve plant efficiency and product quality.

Strategic Planning:

- Contribute to the development of the plant's long-term strategic goals.

- Collaborate with senior management to align manufacturing objectives with overall company strategy.

- Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement in plant operations.
