IT Specialist - LDAP Infrastructure (5-9 yrs)

Job Description :

Out client is a German company headquartered in Munich that provides banknote and securities printing, smart cards, and cash handling systems.

Objective Of This Role :

- Design, Maintain, Support and Troubleshoot LDAP infrastructure spread across 3 geographies and used for Authentication and authorization of critical applications/infrastructure.

- Design, Maintain, Support and Troubleshoot LDAP databases running on MySQL and Berkely DB.

- Design, Maintain, Support and Troubleshoot OpenSSL OR any other crypto suite.

Tasks & Responsibilities :

- Secure operation, maintenance, monitoring and management of G+D's LDAP infra including connected (on-prem / hosted / cloud) LDAP related infrastructure components.

- Close cooperation with Corporate IT, corporate Security and Location IT / Location Security departments to:.

- Maintain complete LDAP deployment coverage in a global network environment.

- Patching, Upgrade, Transition and Migration of 389DS (OR any other Linux/Unix based directory server infra) along with RHEL/Linux OS.

- Patching, Upgrade, Transition and Migration of MySQL OR Berkley Databases.

- Design, Build and Maintain OpenSSL OR any other crypto suite.

- Support troubleshooting.

- Keep the documentation and designs updated all the times.

- Process driven approach with good knowledge of ITIL concepts.

Mandatory Skills :

- Expert (theoretical and hand-on) on Linux Operating System (Preferably RHEL).

- Expert in Architect, Build, Operate and Maintenance of any Linux/Unix based directory server (preferably 389DS) and LDAP protocol/concept in general.

- Expert in Scripting (Bash/Perl/Ruby) and automation using Ansible.

- Hands-on expertise in OpenSSL OR any other crypto suite (Must).
