Aws Cloud Consultant

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Consultant with 7-8 years of experience to support on-premises to cloud migration projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in infrastructure assessment, cloud architecture, migration planning, and implementation.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with compute, networking, storage, security, and automation in cloud environments like AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess on-premises infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, security) to determine cloud readiness.
• Define and implement cloud infrastructure architectures based on industry best practices.
• Design and plan migration strategies (Lift & Shift, Replatforming, Rearchitecting) based on workload requirements.
• Perform infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and cost estimation for cloud environments.
• Use cloud migration tools (AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, etc.) for workload assessment and migration execution.
• Configure networking, security, identity, and access management for cloud workloads.
• Provide expertise on IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring compliance and security best practices.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform.
• Collaborate with application teams, database teams, and security teams to ensure smooth migration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Document technical architectures, migration plans, and operational best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud infrastructure trends, technologies, and best practices.

Primary Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Expertise in compute, storage, networking, and security in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in cloud migration tools (AWS Migration Evaluator, CloudEndure, etc.)
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

Secondary Skills

• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and SD-WAN.
• Strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
