Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cypress for web automation and will work in a fast-paced agile environment to design, develop, and execute automated tests for both web and mobile applications, ensuring the highest quality software deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress or Selenium for web automation.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java for writing automated test scripts.
• Deep understanding of web testing across different browsers and devices.
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with other web automation tools like Playwright or Protractor.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
• Performance testing experience using tools like JMeter.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for running test suites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Selenium for web applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand project requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and cross-platform testing for both web and mobile applications.
• Create and execute automated test suites to validate application functionality, performance, and usability.
• Implement automation solutions that integrate with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Ensure mobile and web automation frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across different applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Execute cross-device and cross-browser tests to ensure compatibility across various platforms.
• Maintain and update test scripts with evolving application changes to ensure continuous test coverage.
• Review and enhance existing test cases to improve test effectiveness and automation stability.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate test results, progress, and issues effectively with the team.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and trends, and recommend improvements to the testing process.

Compensation:

• Based on years of experience, but within budget constraints.
