Job Description :
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Atlassian Practice lead to mentor, and manage a dynamic team of Atlassian consultants, administrators, and developers. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Atlassian tools, exceptional project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions.
This role requires a balance of technical proficiency, leadership, and strategic thinking to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Team Management :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Atlassian professionals, including consultants, administrators, and developers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client needs.
- Evaluate team performance regularly, provide constructive feedback, and support individual career development plans.
- Encourage knowledge sharing, upskilling, and best practices across the team.
Project Delivery :
- Plan, execute, and oversee multiple Atlassian solution delivery projects for diverse clients across industries.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design, estimate, and implement solutions for Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket.
- Drive a culture of collaboration and innovation to support practice development and continuous improvement.
Pre-Sales, Sales, and Marketing Support :
- Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for lead generation and client engagement.
- Assist clients with licensing needs, ensuring compliance and cost optimization.
Stakeholder and Risk Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met effectively.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and resolutions.
Process Optimization :
- Continuously improve team processes, workflows, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Promote and implement best practices in project management, risk management, and solution delivery.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for Atlassian tool implementations.
Qualifications and Skills :
Mandatory Skills :
- Proven expertise in Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Bitbucket.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Atlassian Certifications (i.e., Atlassian Certified Professional or equivalent) are mandatory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong risk management and issue resolution capabilities.
- Exceptional time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in pre-sales, sales, and marketing activities, particularly for lead generation.
- Proficiency in handling customer licensing requirements and renewals.
- Ability to drive process optimization and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Team leadership experience with a focus on collaboration and mentoring.
