Payroll Specialist - HRIS

Duration of contract - 6 months

Role & responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist -HRIS is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Middle East region payroll and supporting regional HR on payroll system administration . This includes calculating employee wages, EOSB and other deductions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and support monthly basis payroll for all employees, including salaried, and daily basis employees
• Calculate gross and net pay, taking into account days worked, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings
• Statutory compliances (GCCPC) deduction, reconciliation payout as per the due date
• Validate and reconciliation of employees variable input
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and files
• Co-ordinate with finance team to deposit employees salary as per the timelines
• Reconcile payroll accounts, advances. provision and resolve any discrepancies
• Respond to employee inquiries about pay, deductions, and benefits
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems
• Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations
• Support HR department to maintain employees payroll related data in SF on time
• Support to regional HR department on employees compensation record and dashboard
• Prepare monthly payroll variance and Analytics
• Training and update to New HR user on SF and payroll system
• Coordinate general administration in conformance under the requirements of group, region and local organization

HRIS

• Assist new HR project implementation
• Assist on system audit and system performance tracking
• Update new patches in system as on when local compliance rule changes
• Support to standardization process within the MCA OGs

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-8 years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role
• Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
• Knowledge of Middle East payroll would be advantageous,
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bachelor's degree - related field preferred (preferred - post graduation)
• Proficiency in HRIS/SF systems (e.g., Success Factor).
• Strong in System, analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with advanced HR analytics and digital transformation initiatives in HR
• Demonstrated success in implementing HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
