We are seeking a seasoned Manager - Payroll to oversee and manage our organization's global payroll operations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, resolving payroll issues, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Processing :
- Oversee the entire payroll cycle, including data entry, calculations, deductions, and tax filings.
- Manage a team of payroll specialists to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.
- Review payroll reports and identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.
Tax Compliance:
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other required reports.
- Manage tax audits and investigations.
Payroll Systems:
- Implement and maintain payroll systems and software.
- Conduct system upgrades and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support.
Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train payroll team members.
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and reduce costs.
- Implement new payroll systems and technologies.
- Develop and implement best practices for payroll operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
