Operational Excellence Lead | Vaccine Business

Role & responsibilities:

Lead Operational Excellence team, strategic development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to drive operational efficiency, enhance quality, and improve overall business performance. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of operational processes, change management, and a passion for fostering a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven methodologies to optimize processes, align teams with organizational goals, and lead high-impact projects.

• Develop and implement an operational excellence strategy to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that align with company goals.
• Identify key areas for improvement within core operational processes, including production, logistics, supply chain, customer service, and quality assurance.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and Kaizen events to engage staff in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts, ensuring that improvements are effectively implemented and sustained across the organization.
• Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize improvement projects and allocate resources effectively.
• Mentor and coach managers and teams across various departments to build a culture of operational excellence.
• Develop training programs to strengthen the organization's capability in lean thinking, problem-solving, and operational best practices.
• Foster collaboration between departments to break down silos and encourage cross-functional problem-solving.
• Partner with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to align operational excellence initiatives with strategic business objectives.
• Act as a change agent, working closely with other teams to ensure alignment and execution of operational goals.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments, aligning initiatives with company-wide objective

Preferred candidate profile:

• 14 + years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or a similar role.
• Proven track record in implementing successful continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading change management efforts.
