Job Summary:

BioGenex is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and validation of advanced molecular pathology solutions. This position requires expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong scientific background, hands-on laboratory experience, and the ability to contribute to reagent manufacturing, data analysis, and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory experiments using IHC, ISH, and FISH techniques, including tissue processing, staining protocols, and image analysis.
• Design and execute screening and validation experiments, including antibody selection, optimization of staining parameters, and control setup.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate detailed reports.
• Participate in reagent manufacturing, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
• Assist in documentation processes, including datasheet preparation, product development reports, and quality assurance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and research initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Present research findings effectively through written reports and verbal communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Masters degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of industry experience with hands-on experience in IHC, ISH, and FISH techniques, including tissue processing and staining protocols.
• Experience in designing experiments, optimizing staining parameters, and conducting validation studies.
• Familiarity with reagent manufacturing and quality assurance processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret experimental results and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Excellent documentation and report-writing skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to present findings and collaborate with teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of molecular pathology techniques and diagnostic assay development.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced research setting.
