Key Responsibilities:

• Deployment & Installation:
  
• Lead the deployment, installation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure such as SMPS, DGs, Transformers, UPS systems, and related utilities within data centers and other mission-critical environments.
• Oversee the setup of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Operation & Monitoring:
  
• Monitor and maintain the day-to-day operation of electrical infrastructure, ensuring efficient performance of DGs, SMPS, Transformers, UPS systems, and utilities.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track the performance and health of all systems, ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues in real time to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance & Repairs:
  
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical electrical systems, ensuring minimal service disruption.
• Perform regular inspections and audits of electrical systems to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely service interventions to extend the life of equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
  
• Identify root causes of system malfunctions or failures and implement solutions promptly.
• Support incident management processes, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently with proper documentation.
• Safety & Compliance:
  
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards during installation, operation, and maintenance processes.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during high-voltage work and while operating or maintaining critical systems.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, system performances, faults, and repairs.
• Prepare and manage operational reports related to system health, performance, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation for troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvements.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  
• Work closely with other departments such as network operations, facilities management, and project management to ensure seamless integration of electrical infrastructure within the data center.
• Provide technical expertise to internal teams and stakeholders when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining SMPS, DG’s, Transformers, UPS, and utilities in data center environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including DC and AC systems, backup power systems, and critical infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience with the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UPS, DG sets, and transformers.
• Familiarity with data center operations, electrical distribution, and electrical safety standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
• Proficiency with monitoring systems and tools used in data centers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
