CCR Operator - Process (Kiln / Grinding)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and control the kiln and grinding systems from the central control room in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor process parameters and make adjustments as necessary to maintain stable and efficient kiln and grinding operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks of kiln and grinding equipment to ensure reliability and identify any abnormalities or potential issues.
• Collaborate with other operators and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems in a timely manner.
• Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, clinker, cement products, and grinding process outputs to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of production activities, process parameters, and equipment performance related to kiln and grinding operations.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in kiln and grinding systems.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and optimization strategies to increase productivity, improve grinding efficiency, and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or technical or vocational training in kiln and grinding operations preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience as a CCR Operator, with a focus on kiln operations and grinding in the cement industry.
• Solid understanding of kiln and grinding systems, including preheaters, calciners, rotary kilns, and vertical roller mills or ball mills.
• Familiarity with process control systems and computerized monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidate from the cement industry only.
• Candidates with expertise in either kiln operations or grinding operations are encouraged to apply.
