Job Description

Collect information from previous shift in charge which problem occurred in shift.
Ensure targeted production is achieved, in case of any deviation, identify the root cause, and taking corrective and preventive action to avoid recurrence on daily basis.
Organize the base material according to daily production schedule. Ensure timely deliver finish good to dispatch area.
Assurance of dies from die room according to production schedule. Verify the daily start-up checklist filled by the operator.
Management of manpower at shop floor includes effective utilization of man. Machines and other resources in shift.
Controlling of all consumptions as well as spares. Check the raw material stock and issue from store if necessary. Reporting to the HOD about production and problems as shift wise.
Train anvelop subordinates. Implementation of various systems related with Safety, Quality, Productivity, Maintenance etc.
Ensure safe working practices and ensure proper housekeeping & zero accident during the shift. Measurement of production and efficiency. Training at various department such as Quality Control, Pickling process, Lead patenting.
Maintaining & controlling the process parameters and follow the work.
Identify the cost reduction and improvement area and discuss with HOD for necessary implementation. Responsibility for good quality of production.
Daily check process and product parameter of all sections. Knowledge of micrometre, Vernier callipers, pyrometer, UTS, Torsion and bending machine, chemical testing etc.
Design of methods, processes and specifications as per customer requirement. Determine the OEE (overall equipment efficiency).
