Compliance Auditor

Job Description:

Basant, a leading furniture manufacturing company, is looking for a Compliance HR Auditor to ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR compliance audits, legal documentation, and ensuring smooth regulatory operations within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular HR compliance audits to ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
• Monitor and verify statutory compliance related to payroll, wages, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other labor welfare laws.
• Review and audit employee records, contracts, and legal documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to factory compliance laws, employee safety regulations, and workplace ethics policies.
• Liaise with government authorities, labor officers, and legal consultants as required.
• Conduct internal training sessions for HR and management on updated labor laws and compliance requirements.
• Identify non-compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation and generate detailed compliance reports for management review.
• Stay updated with the latest amendments in labor laws and regulatory policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in HR compliance, labor law audits, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Factory Act, and Compliance Policies.
• Proficiency in handling statutory compliance related to payroll, ESI, PF, gratuity, and employee benefits.
• Excellent understanding of audit procedures, legal documentation, and HR policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is preferred.
