Job Description
- Agency Planning and Review
- Develop annual operating plan for Agency to strengthen the distribution reach and enhance profitability of the agency vertical in Geo
- Break down targets for Zonal heads, Regional heads, and Area Heads and guide achievement of the same through robust operational planning
- Conduct periodic review with supervisor and own team to track achievement, anticipate and mitigate issues and solve complex problems
- Present Agency numbers to the NHOD/Distribution Head /Shareholders, as required
- Proactively identify improvements to existing processes and systems; Recommend changes and implement the same, upon approval
- Recruitment, Activation and Relationship Management
- Design targets, determine incentive structure for Agency across Geo, present to supervisor/Finance/HR for inputs to achieve the overall AOP targets
- Drive MIS and reporting processes
- Share success stories to motivate and share learning to other managers
- Identify deviations from plan and identify red flags, support achievement of targets
- Identify need for training for agents based on capability gaps; Work closely with training team to design and refine training programs, as needed; Personally deliver the training sessions based on requirement and program design
- Periodically review the onboarding process for structured engagement, identify opportunities for improvement and driving any changes on the ground
- Lead the Agency Relationship team in onboarding agents pan-India, developing strong working relationships to aid in operational coordination
- Identify, design and oversee deployment of physical programs
- Resolve any escalated grievances received from the ZH s/RH s/AH s/RSM/ASM/ FLR team and determine way forward for resolution
- Engagement and R&R (Physical and Digital)
- Develop engagement programs to motivate agents to perform at maximum capacity in order to drive achievement of targets; Participate in physical programs to drive engagement of agents; Personally meet agents as per designed format and requirement
- Lead performance monitoring at agent level across all zones of operations, identify red flags and implement course-corrections, as required
- Identify agenda to be driven on-ground based on the priorities for GEO; Design annual, quarterly and monthly campaigns and guide implementation of such campaigns on-the-ground; Oversee creation of collateral and other communication material
- Review campaign performance (mid-implementation) across zones, identify issues and implementing course-corrections, as required
- Participate in audit of campaigns (upon completion) in coordination with internal audit and finance team, releasing list of final winners and oversee the processing of the reward payouts, as needed; Resolve issues faced by the team
- Team Management
- Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the function
- Conduct training needs identification and drive adequate participation of team in training programs
- Implement the rewards and recognition policies within the team to ensure reinforcement of right behaviors
- Establish individual performance expectations and evaluation metrics, and regularly review individual performance
- Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge
