Job Description

AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Project Management, Site Design, Stormwater Management, Grading, Land Development, Construction Documentation,. NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION. To participate in the design of civil & Structural activities to produce detailed drawings of civil & Structural designs.

Fully competent Designer specialized in all aspects of chosen discipline. Able to produce designs with minimal engineering input, sketches, notes, vendor drawings etc. Should have good understanding of other discipline modeling activities, dependency on the other disciplines, Responsible for on time delivery and quality. Identifies shortcomings in current design methods and use of software and proposes remedies.

Major Responsibilities. To use computer aided design (Micro-station, AutoCAD,PDMS) facilities for the production of detailed and general arrangement drawings, such as Layouts, interconnection diagrams, Installation drawing, loop drawings, block diagrams, termination diagrams, mounting details for racks and equipment etc.

Maintain AutoCAD files.

To produce Design, fabrication drawings for civil & structures & proficient with the structural Detailing such as Connections, Welds.

To prepare clash free 2D Model. To prepare clash free 3D Model.

To prepare MTO/BOM using MS-Excel & have knowledge on Material Specification & Structural Member Properties.

To follow all relevant procedures and Departmental Working Instructions. To follow all applicable and relevant Guidelines, standards and codes in structural design. To produce structural calculation and ensure that the associated structures withstand all the loading scenario. To follow all relevant GMS procedures and Departmental Working Instructions in the engineering of structures.

To perform 3D Model Clash Checking & solving the Clashes. Job Requirements. Education Qualification:Engineering Degree or Diploma from a recognized university / Institution. Excellent technical knowledge and use of design softwares like AutoCAD, PDMS etc.

Experience. Minimum 3 -5 Yrs for BE/BTech and 6 Yrs. for Diploma is preferable.

Experienced professional should be fully competent in the use of relevant drafting software. Experience in an oil and gas company in specific engineering services focused on FPSO, FSO, other floating Oil & Gas structures and platforms is preferred,. Show more Show less
