Hiring for the role of HR Business Partner - General Insurance
Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Mumbai
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Head of HR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive strategic HR initiatives and support business objectives within our General Insurance company. The HRBP will work closely with senior leaders and employees to foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure effective talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnership:
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide insights and solutions for improving business performance.
2. Talent Management & Development:
- Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract top industry professionals.
- Implement employee development programs, including leadership training and succession planning.
- Support performance management processes, ensuring objective goal setting and career growth.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to enhance workplace culture.
- Act as an employee advocate, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
4. Compensation & Benefits:
- Work closely with the compensation team to ensure competitive salary structures and benefits.
- Monitor market trends to recommend adjustments in salary and benefits packages.
5. HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Lead audits and risk assessments related to HR policies and employee relations.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions fairly and transparently.
6. Change Management & HR Projects:
- Lead HR transformation projects and digital HR initiatives.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring processes within the organization.
- Champion HR technology adoption for process efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR business partner or in a similar role, preferably in general insurance, BFSI, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry trends and HR best practices.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinking with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in HR analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
