Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Accounts with expertise in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Direct & Indirect Taxation. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience post-CA qualification and possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and a detail-oriented approach to accounting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
- Oversee vendor invoice processing and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and manage vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate recording of expenses and adherence to budgetary controls.
- Implement and monitor internal controls for expense approvals.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
- Manage invoicing, collections, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and reduce overdue balances.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer disputes.
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of receivables.
3. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance:
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory tax filings.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Reconcile tax accounts and handle tax audits or assessments.
- Stay updated with tax laws and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
4. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support statutory and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation.
5. Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Improve accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Assist in the implementation of ERP systems and automation of accounting tasks.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, financial analysis, and reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
