Hiring for the role of Manager Operation - Non-Employee benefit (General Insurance)
Job Summary:
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Manager of operations to oversee and streamline the operational processes related to Non-Employee Benefits (NEB) in General Insurance. The ideal candidate should understand insurance operations, policy administration, claims management, regulatory compliance, and customer service. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage teams and ensure operational efficiency while maintaining high service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee end-to-end operations of Non-Employee Benefits insurance policies, including issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Ensure seamless policy administration, underwriting support, and claims processing for NEB insurance products.
- Implement and monitor SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to enhance operational efficiency and reduce processing time.
- Collaborate with internal teams like underwriting, sales, compliance, and IT for smooth policy servicing.
2. Claims Handling & Customer Service:
- Supervise the claims processing lifecycle, ensuring timely assessment & settlement.
- Coordinate with third-party administrators (TPAs), insurers, and other stakeholders to expedite claim resolutions.
- Address customer grievances and provide proactive resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations and company policies for NEB insurance operations.
- Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to minimize operational risks.
- Keep updated with changes in regulatory frameworks and update internal processes accordingly.
4. Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on operational best practices, compliance, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor team performance through KPIs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
5. Process Improvement & Reporting:
- Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Work on automation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational workflows.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management.
