Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Strategy:
- Define objectives, scope, and approach for analytics and consulting projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with senior management and team leads.
- Plan for optimal resource allocation and prioritize projects based on potential business impact.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (senior leadership, department heads, clients, vendors) to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to report project progress, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction.
Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
- Oversee data collection, cleaning, and transformation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Interpret data trends, patterns, and performance metrics to support informed strategic and operational decisions.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate insights effectively through tailored reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of analytics and project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve team capabilities and adopt new techniques where beneficial.
Consultant Assignment and Activation Support:
- Assign consultants based on project requirements, availability, skills, experience, and development needs.
- Support project pipeline development by proactively assigning consultants to outreach and activation work likely to convert into projects.
- Work closely with Senior Managers and Associate Directors to qualify activations, establish timelines, and address resourcing needs.
Capacity Utilization and Performance Monitoring:
- Work towards achieving target utilization rates by monitoring consultant availability and adjusting staffing plans as needed.
- Investigate deviations from staffing plans and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
- Flag additional consultant requirements to leadership if pipeline falls short of target utilization levels.
Relationship Building and Consultant Development:
- Foster strong relationships with consultants, unit leadership, and HR to match consultants with projects that align with their skills and career goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and attend appraisal meetings to assess consultant expectations, performance, and development needs.
Recruitment and Talent Management Liaison:
Coordinate with HR to communicate in-demand skills, capabilities, and expertise needed within the unit.
- Stay informed on recruitment activities, understanding new hires' skills to better manage project pipelines and integrate new team members efficiently.
