Job Description

The Shipping & Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient movement of goods from the company to customers or other destinations. This role involves managing shipping logistics, ensuring timely dispatch of orders, and maintaining accurate records of shipments.

Ensure timely processing and dispatching of customer orders, including reviewing order details and packaging.
Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes.
Coordinate the dispatch of goods with external transport providers or in-house logistics teams.
Schedule and track shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with vendors, warehouses, and transporters to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
Monitor transportation schedules and resolve any issues that may cause delays.
Ensure correct labeling and packing of goods before shipment.
Verify products before dispatch to ensure accuracy in orders.
Ensure that all shipping and dispatch activities are in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Prepare and maintain records of shipments and deliveries.
Ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance (for international shipments).
Provide regular updates to customers regarding their order status and delivery timelines.
Handle customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery issues, resolving complaints as necessary.
Address any issues with shipments, such as damaged goods, delayed deliveries, or incorrect orders.
Work with the warehouse and logistics teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Knowledge of international shipping processes and customs regulations.
Experience in a warehouse environment or with supply chain management.
