In a span of 4 years, ATF has impacted the lives of 9.1 lakh (910,000) Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through its high impact programs and initiatives. ATF has a network of 450+ Assistive Technology Startups/ innovators in the country. ATF also co-founded a global network +N Inclusive Innovation Network with organizations in 6 other countries.
Role Description
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Lead, Communications Community Engagement to drive ATF s brand awareness, storytelling, and community-building initiatives. The ideal candidate will craft and execute communication strategies that engage stakeholders, amplify ATF s mission, and foster a thriving ecosystem around Assistive Technology. This role requires an individual with excellent storytelling skills, community engagement experience, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Please note that this position welcomes applicants with varying levels of experience including freshers with exceptional talent rigor.
Role Requirements:
1.Communications Strategy and Execution
Create engaging content for newsletters, emails, social media, blogs, press releases, and other collateral to drive awareness and action.
Oversee ATFs brand identity and ensure messaging consistency across all channels, including social media, website, and PR efforts.
Manage media relations, including responding to inquiries, pitching stories, and developing communication materials such as op-eds, press releases, and talking points.
2.Community Engagement
Design and execute community engagement initiatives, including webinars, social media events, and in-person gatherings, to connect with and inspire educators and leaders.
Build and cultivate relationships with community members, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and motivated to participate in ATF s initiatives.
Develop strategies to leverage the growing community to support recruitment efforts for The Circle s programs.
3.Leadership and Collaboration
Act as a liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and community members to align messaging and objectives.
Identify and collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, PR agencies, journalists and partners to amplify ATF s reach and impact.
Partner with the design, program, and recruitment teams to ensure all communications are visually and strategically aligned with ATF s goals.
4.Event Management and Storytelling
Conceptualize and host flagship events, ensuring they align with ATF s brand and strategic goals.
Capture and share compelling stories of impact through various media to inspire and engage audiences.
5. Monitoring Analysis
Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to inform and optimize communication strategies.
Stay abreast of industry trends, audience behaviors, and best practices in community engagement.
Qualifications Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in communications, community engagement, or related fields.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
Experience designing and executing community engagement initiatives.
Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of working efficiently in cross-team settings and managing external partners.
Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies while managing day-to-day communication needs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with tools such as social media platforms, email marketing software, digital design tools, and data analytics tools.
Demonstrated experience in maintaining and evolving a strong brand identity.
Remuneration:
The salary for this role is in the range of 5-8 LPA, with the final offer depending on the candidate s experience, skills, and overall alignment with the role. For exceptional candidates, there may be flexibility in the compensation.
