Assistant Engineer - Highways

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer - Highways to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of highway and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of highway projects, including road alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
- Support the preparation of project proposals and presentations for client meetings and public hearings.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on status and challenges to senior team members.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to highway engineering.

Qualifications:
- Master s degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in highway design, construction, or project management is a plus.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
