Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a SOX Auditor role to join our Internal Audit team at our office at Hyderabad, India. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Internal Audit function. This position will report to the SOX Audit Supervisor in the US.
The responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to, the following:
Execute detailed validation and testing of key controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance;
Execute detailed audit program steps that involve reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, and compliance with established policies and procedures;
Prepare work papers to properly record and summarize the results of detailed audit testing and express an opinion on the outcome;
Apply tools for data retrieval and analysis (Excel, SAP, BW, ACL, Power BI, etc.) and recognize opportunities to use such tools and demonstrating advanced techniques.

Qualifications:
2 - 4 years of internal audit experience, prior SOX compliance experience is a plus. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Decision Science and Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or comparable major; Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; Ability to work well in a dynamic, results-driven team environment; Individual initiative, project management and multi-tasking skills; Must be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20%; Must be committed to attaining relevant professional certification (CIA or CPA) within 2 years of employment; Excellent command of both written and spoken English, other foreign language skills a plus. Good understanding of SAP is a plus
