Senior HR Manager


Position Overview:

- This pivotal leadership role will establish and drive the entire human resources function during its critical growth phase.


- The position exists to build and nurture a high-performance organization that can execute the company's ambitious vision of revolutionising fashion retail.

- The role's strategic importance lies in its mandate to create a robust talent pipeline, develop a strong company culture, and establish scalable HR operations that will support rapid growth trajectory.


- The Senior Manager - HR will be instrumental in building the organisational capabilities required to scale from a startup to a market leader.

- Key challenges include rapidly scaling the team while maintaining cultural integrity, establishing processes that balance efficiency with agility, and creating an employer brand that attracts top talent in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies to meet aggressive hiring targets across tech, operations, and business functions.

- Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with culture and compliance requirements.

- Create and manage an exceptional employee experience, from onboarding through the entire employee lifecycle.

- Build and maintain relationships with key HR partners, including payroll providers, benefits administrators, and recruitment agencies.

- Lead employer branding initiatives to position as an employer of choice in the fashion-tech ecosystem

- Establish HR metrics and analytics frameworks to measure and improve organizational effectiveness.

- Drive culture-building initiatives that reinforce values of customer obsession, entrepreneurial thinking, speed, integrity, and team belongingness.

Critical Success Factors:

- Successfully scale the organisation's team strength as per evolving business plans

- Achieve a high offer acceptance rate for critical roles

- Maintain employee engagement scores above industry benchmarks

- Establish fully compliant HR operations with zero regulatory issues

- Implement a comprehensive HR technology stack within the first six months

- Create and roll out a structured onboarding program

Education and Experience:

Technical Skills:

- Deep expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment strategies

- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance requirements

- Proficiency in HR analytics and metrics-driven decision-making

- Experience with HRIS and HR technology implementation

- Solid understanding of compensation and benefits administration

Leadership Qualities:

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity

- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Hands-on leader who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution

- Change management expertise
