• Design, build and maintain technology solutions within the finance systems domain, ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives.
• Design and develop integrations between multiple systems, ensuring interoperability, scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Analyze requirements to create functional designs, technical design and delivery plan for ERP and integrated applications
• Drive the execution of projects, ensuring high standards of creativity, functionality, and sustainability in delivered solutions.
• Apply technical expertise to design solutions that address business needs, develop roadmaps, create proof of concepts (POCs) and minimum viable products (MVPs), and ensure the long-term viability of new deployments.
• Implement and streamline DevOps practices in Enterprise finance tech stack.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, system workflows, and architecture diagrams, to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Define and document system requirements, processes, and workflows to ensure clarity across the team.
• Foster collaboration and communication across teams, working with stakeholders, system owners, and product vendors to drive project alignment, role clarity, and effective execution.
• Guide team members in delivering innovative solutions by providing architectural direction, technical recommendations, addressing challenges, and managing resources effectively.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Developers, Product Vendors, and IT Management, adapting communication styles as needed.

Stay updated with industry best practices and benchmarks to design and implement a best-in-class systems architecture for the Finance Systems team.

• Overall 8+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior technical role is mandatory.
• Firsthand experience in the ERP or Finance System with demonstrated design and technical implementation of finance capabilities.
• Proficient in designing, configuring, and implementing finance systems, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Management, Collections, Tax, and Inventory.
• Understanding of billing and subscription management processes and systems, including integrations with upstream (CRM, CPQ) and downstream (ERP, RevRec) platform applications.
• Advanced knowledge of finance-related technologies, such as ERP systems, FP&A tools, financial reporting systems, and relevant programming languages.
• Comprehensive understanding of finance-related value streams, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Plan to Report, and their supporting system architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to support actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and present technical concepts to executive management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with systems like Intacct, Blackline, Avalara, Salesforce, MS SQL, and APIs is highly desirable.

• OR Experience in designing, building & delivering technical solution for any of Finance modules (GL/AR/AP/VAT/etc.)
• Should understand API framework and Integration framework (CRUD / Microservices / Pub/Sub model)
• Should have good understanding of JavaScript/HTML/Python/React
• Familiarity with systems like Blackline, Avalara, Salesforce, and MS SQL highly desirable.

Business Understanding

• Should understand basics of finance business (GL, AR, AP, Billing, Invoicing, VAT, Tax)

Caliber

• Should be able to use AI for coding, and familiarity with AI concepts.
• Should be able to prioritize based on outcome and create delivery plan.
• Should be able to communicate well.
• Should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a background in business management, budgeting, and analysis considered a plus.
