Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations within the Specialty Oil division, ensuring cost-effective and efficient sourcing.
• Manage import sales, maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Handle purchase formalities, banking procedures, and financial compliance, ensuring smooth transactions.
• Monitor and analyze inventory reports to optimize stock management and supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and proper product classification.
• Manage bulk liquid vessels, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective transportation.
• Develop strategies for logistics and shipping operations, coordinating schedules and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize SAP, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools for accurate procurement tracking and reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the oil industry is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, import/export operations, and banking formalities.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in SAP and Excel for procurement and financial reporting.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders
