Job Title: SRE 2 -Cloud Platform Tooling

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

What you will do:

Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS services, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
Integrate security checks into the CI/CD process to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage AWS infrastructure, including WAF configurations for enhanced security.
Develop reusable terraform in terraform with versioning and backward-compatibility
Configure and manage AWS WAF to protect web applications from common web exploits and vulnerabilities.
Utilize Terraform to automate the deployment of WAF rules, including rate limiting and custom rules based on application needs.
Enhance security posture by automating security controls and compliance checks in AWS environments.
Implement SSL/TLS configurations for secure communications and manage certificates effectively.
Drive automation initiatives to improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance within AWS.
Develop and maintain automation scripts in Golang and Python for operational tasks and infrastructure management.
Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to track the health and performance of automated systems and pipelines.
Respond to security incidents and automation failures, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide automation solutions that meet business needs.
Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Who you are:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field with a focus on automation within AWS.
Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and Terraform.
Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management, especially in configuring AWS WAF and rate limiting.
Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and IAM.
Familiarity with Golang and Python for developing automation scripts and tools.
Understanding of application security best practices, including SSL/TLS, WAF configurations, and rate limiting strategies.
Experience with security tools and frameworks for vulnerability scanning and compliance.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly.
