A Continental Chef is responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes
Job Duties:
Plan and oversee the preparation of all menu items, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
Develop and create new dishes that appeal to the restaurant's target audience while maintaining the quality and standard of existing dishes
Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to established standards for taste, texture, and appearance
Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothlyMonitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure that food is cooked to the correct temperature and that all dishes are prepared according to the recipe
