Position: Full Stack Next.js Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Next.js Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining modern web applications that are fast, scalable, and user-friendly. You will work on both the frontend and backend, using Next.js for the frontend and a variety of backend technologies to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development:
• Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Work with design teams to implement UI/UX designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Leverage Next.js features such as Static Site Generation (SSG), Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and API routes.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Backend Development:
• Build scalable, RESTful APIs and integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party services.
• Handle server-side logic using Node.js, Express.js, or other relevant technologies.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and other security measures.
• Integrate backend services with the frontend, ensuring seamless data flow between the two.
• Database Management:
• Design, develop, and manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
• Write efficient queries, ensure database optimization, and ensure data integrity.
• Deployment and DevOps:
• Deploy web applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Netlify, etc.).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Monitor application performance and resolve issues.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Qualifications:

• Frontend:
• Strong experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Experience with modern frontend tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/Yarn.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks (Material-UI, TailwindCSS, Bootstrap, etc.).
• Backend:
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js or similar backend frameworks.
• Familiarity with server-side concepts like SSR, SSG, and API Routes in Next.js.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Database:
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firebase).
• Experience with database modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Version Control & Collaboration:
• Expertise in Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control and collaboration.
