Job Description -
An opportunity for seasoned SAP procurement , who have demonstrated strong capability in various
aspects of procure to pay related processes.
Skills -
Strong working experience in building the solution pertaining to RFQ and Quotation, PR &
PO, RM/PM Purchase, Subcontracting, Consignment, MRP, Contract and Scheduling
agreement, 3rs Party Purchase, Asset purchase, Service purchase, Stock Transfer (Intra-Co,
Inter-co, Storage Location), Batch Management, Vendor invoice verification with open text
VIM, Credit/Debit Memo
Profound knowledge in SAP Core Material Management e such as Master Data, Supply
Chain, MM/ IM is expected through several implementation engagements with strong
configuration involvement
Expert working experience on inventory management like GR/GI, Scrap process, Physical
Inventory, Transfer posting, Quality inspection and Reservation, Release strategy
Hands on experience on integration with different SAP or non-SAP systems
Writing functional Specification for Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Forms,
Workflow requiring ABAP development.
Experience in info records creation, setting parked invoice workflow, Setting Invoice
Settlement plan, setting automatic settlement
Experience in integration Interface experience with surrounding systems and external legacy
systems
Procurement Process: Complete procurement cycle from Purchase Requisition to Invoicing.
Demand Planning configuration.
Physical Inventory: Physical Inventory Document, Print Physical Inventory Document,
Recount, Enter Count, Post Differences.
Release Strategies: Create Release Groups, Release Strategies, Classifications, Release
Indicators, Release pre requisites.
Enterprise Structure: Configuration of new sites, assignment to company code, purchasing
organization, purchasing groups.
Master Data: Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Record, Source List, LSMW/LTMC.
Inventory Management: Goods receipt, Transfer Postings, Goods Issue, Movement types &
Automatic account assignment.
Pricing & Valuation: Pricing Procedures, Conditions, Access Sequence, Split valuation.
Stock Transport Order: Inter Company and Intra Company STO.
Should worked on Extended Warehouse
GST process in SAP MM - Involves incorporating new changes as per Govt s norms
Must have implemented at least 1 SAP S/4 HANA projects, and SAP ECC Projects
Fluent in English Communication
Good knowledge of ASAP, SAP Activate and Agile Project Methodology
Should have good communication & Coordination, leadership, analytical and decision
making skills
Roles and Responsibilities -
Expert in Fit and Gap Analysis, Functional Specifications, testing, end user training, and
documentation.
Expertise in ASAP, Agile and Activate methodologies and analysing AS IS & TO BE status of
the client and suggesting the solutions best suited for the implementation.
Resolve Incidents, diagnose problem areas and provide best solutions
Responsible for requirement gathering, Design innovative solutions and facilitate
deployment/implementation projects - contribute to all phases of SAP implementation
projects
Plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct
conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and
solution design
Develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in
solution design based on areas of expertise.
Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and
prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line
with organization s financial guidelines
Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an
objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
Managing the scope and statement of work
Managing the client relationship for the project
Facilitating the requirements and design sessions
Develop project plan using Project Planning & Tracking tool viz. MS Project
Responsible for User Acceptance and Sign off
Develop domain expertise/understanding of industry best practices
Adherence to internal processes and customer specific project methodologies
Compliance with Knowledge Management processes
Follow on-site/off-site methodologies and contribute to continuous enhancement of processes
Manage team members reporting on the project
Build relationship with various stakeholder interface points
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for
improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and
management.
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful
reports.
Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring
technical feasibility.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and
costs
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Academic Background -
B.COM, MBA, CA/CWA/, BE (Computer / IT), MCA, MSc IT
Industry Experience
Any or Metal Manufacturing, Steel industry will be added advantage
