Sr Software Dev Engineer, FTVX Team (Whole World)

FireTV Chennai is looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineers who has experience in building innovative, mission critical, high volume cloud systems and device packages that powers our world-class content forward experience for millions of customers. As a software engineer in this team, you are expected to design and implement micro cloud services and APIs serving ultra-high volume transactions and device packages for rendering. Your cloud services and API s have direct impact to customer experience, be a base for building varied features for FireTV. You identify betterments to current design, propose improvements, identify impact to dependent systems, implement and rollout changes successfully. You continuously look for improvements that excite our customers, show bias for action and get it done.

The Sr SDE will be the lead architect for Conversation Surface on the FTV as endpoints as well will define the technical roadmap for the Operations and Tooling.

Key job responsibilities
* Help develop technical roadmap, strategy, customer experience and roadmap for FireTV product initiatives
* Facilitate the technical architecture between multiple complex systems.
* Create buy-in for the technical vision and strategy both internally and with key external partners
* Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and issues that may impair the teams ability to meet strategic or technical goals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver the best product for our customers
* Experience leading a high performance team and a track record of mentoring
