Sr. Technical Lead ( Hardware )

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 8 - 12 years of professional experience in hardware, PCB design and Product Development.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, Schematics capture, PCB layout, and engineering principles, with at least 10 years of experience. This role requires expertise in designing complex hardware systems and PCBs, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

Key Skill set:

• Expertise in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer ( preferred ) , Cadence Allegro, or similar.
• Analyze and mitigate signal / power integrity issues, including crosstalk, reflections, and impedance mismatches
• Familiarity with Design simulations such as Mentor Graphics, Hyperlynx etc
• Proficiency in component selection, layout design, design documentation
• Good knowledge of Analog and Digital circuit design using Diode, MOSFET, BJT, Op-Amp etc.
• Work experience in MCU, MPU, FPGA, DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, BLE, WIFI, 5G RF based design (preferred) etc
• Work experience in I2C, I2S, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, HDMI, PCIe, Ethernet, SATA, MIPI-CSI, MIPI-DSI etc.
• Experience of Power supply design like SMPS AC to AC converters, DC to DC converters like Buck, Boost, PMIC, LDO etc
• Familiarity with Digital multimeter, Oscilloscope, DSO, Function generator, logic Analyzer.
• Lead and manage the entire PCB design lifecycle, from concept through to production.
• Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
• Experience of EMC/EMI considerations and compliance.
• Ensure proper component placement, signal integrity, and thermal considerations
• Perform design reviews and simulations to ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical specifications.
• Manage the PCB design lifecycle from concept through to production, including prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review and optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design files, bills of materials (BOM), and assembly drawings.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, Industrial designers and manufacturing teams.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, signal integrity, and power distribution.
• Experience with high-speed digital design, analog circuitry, and RF design is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

Compliance knowledge (IPC, FCC, UL, CE) will be preferred.

Programming in C & C++, Linux will be preferred.
