Job Description

HRO Head - Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Model

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HRO Head to lead the Human Resources Operations for our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions supporting our RPO engagements, ensuring compliance, and driving best practices to optimize the employee experience for our embedded recruitment teams. The HRO Head will partner closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver exceptional HR support and contribute to the overall success of our RPO partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall RPO business strategy and client needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to client engagement leadership on all HR-related matters.
  • Stay current on HR trends, regulations, and best practices, and proactively recommend updates to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated HR processes.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management:
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle within the RPO model, from on boarding to off boarding.
  • Manage performance management processes, including performance reviews, development plans, and performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • HR Operations & Administration:
  • Manage and oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data management and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the Legal department to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Client Partnership & Relationship Management:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders on HR-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client HR teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Proactively identify and resolve client concerns regarding HR-related issues.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to provide updates and insights on HR performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals supporting RPO engagements.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local laws.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote a fair and equitable workplace.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage worker's compensation claims and unemployment claims.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within an RPO or professional services environment.
  • Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proven experience managing the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Strong employee relations skills, including experience conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and other HR technology.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI-PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
