Altimetrik Corp - Principal Architect - Cloud (13-19 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Cloud Principal Architect to lead cloud transformation initiatives, design scalable cloud architectures, and drive enterprise cloud adoption. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Terraform, Kubernetes, scripting, RFP (Request for Proposal) processes, and cloud migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures for enterprise applications.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead automation using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.

- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Kubernetes.

- Cloud Migration: Drive end-to-end cloud migration strategies, including assessment, planning, and execution.

- Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation, monitoring, and optimization.

- RFP & Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with sales and business teams to provide technical solutions for RFPs, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud security best practices, compliance with industry standards, and governance frameworks.

- Collaboration & Mentoring: Work with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and establish cloud best practices across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services, networking, storage, and compute.

- Terraform & IaC: Hands-on experience in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure automation.

- Kubernetes & Containerization: Strong experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in a production environment.

- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and DevOps workflows.

- Migration Expertise: Proven experience in on-prem to cloud migration and cloud-native transformations.

- RFP & Pre-sales Support: Experience in writing technical proposals, solution architecture design, and responding to RFPs.

- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, identity & access management, and regulatory compliance.

- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to work with technical and non-technical - stakeholders, mentor teams, and drive cloud adoption strategies.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
