ABOUT US
Responsibilities:
Data Processing and Management:
- Leverage Spark and Databricks to preprocess and transform large-scale datasets, ensuring data is ready for analysis.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to guarantee efficient and accurate data processing.
- Maintain, clean, and organize data to support analysis and reporting needs.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to tackle business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement advanced models to support predictive analytics initiatives.
Visualization and Reporting:
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to effectively visualize data insights for stakeholders.
- Develop automated reporting processes to deliver real-time updates and metrics to the business.
- Present insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and understand data needs.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance processes, products, and strategies across the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Spark, Databricks, and Power BI, guiding teams in best practices.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards and policies.
- Contribute to the development of data governance policies and best practices to maintain high data standards.
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong knowledge in data analysis and software development.
- Proficiency in data processing and analysis using Spark and Databricks.
- Expertise in creating and managing dashboards in Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, including SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages used in data analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Proven experience in business intelligence and data analysis, with a track record of meeting the visualization, reporting, and analytics needs of key business functions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and an open mindset to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and YAML pipelines.
- Understanding of secure SDLC principles.
