Job Description

Purpose:

The role is key to ensure continued yearly growth of certified candidates and ensuring a qualitative certification process for all candidates globally via an 18 month long certification process accompanied with a dedicated training program.

Additionally, animating the global certified community with special events, focus groups is key to continue growth of recognition programs.

The role will interface and have strong collaboration with external certification partner Key account manager but also other key global customers (Top 500 global 500 companies with similar challenges) for global strategic topics and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

Main point of contact and learning certification team manager reporting to the Bid, Project, Planning Management & Commercial Academy/Certification director for all Project & Bid Community certification programs.

Define and follow-up growth strategy and develop new recognition programs through global award programs or internal assessments.

Define strategic improvement initiatives between Mtier VPs, Suppliers and Regional Talent Managers and facilitate strategic meeting review with all stakeholders twice a year to discuss progress.

Responsible for coordination of all certification programs and ~400 candidates at a given time that are at different steps in the certification process and in different programs. Ensure macro planning of all certification programs in close liaison with external provider and ensure candidates succeed through the certification program.

Manage certification budget and relations with all involved stakeholders.

Team leader managing a team on a day to day basis by being very hands on to guide and coach team members with the ability to break down project steps into activities with proper follow-up and delivery. This entails understanding the objectives, deliverables and timelines of simultaneous activities across the various programs. As the team grows ensure processes are well defined and followed-up and propose improvement actions.

  • Manage 3 certification programs centrally to ensure coherence across different programs and common tools and follow-up as well as strategic roadmap to attain growth targets
  • Global Key Account representative with external supplier including strategic exchanges with other global companies for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and schedule macro planning for all key certification steps including remote and face to face 1:1 exams with assessors with dedicated exam centers in each region based on candidate profiles in certification program
  • Lead team to administer candidates throughout the full certification program: from kick-off of the program to briefing sessions for each step all the way through certification
  • Prepare training deployment plan and training adaptations in line with certification timeline for all candidates and programs
  • Ensure all communication of intermediary and final results are available quickly to candidates, their mangers and regional HR community
  • Maintain digital tools and certification paths up to date for all current candidates as well as communication channels to promote certification to future candidates
  • Promote certification programs and follow-up on regular basis with Talent/HR network on progress of candidates in the various certification steps
  • Manage certification budget, monitor reporting and kpi follow-up
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for all certification programs whether internal or external to Alstom

Requirements:

  • Business Masters degree
  • 8 Years minimum experience in global scale program management (managed as projects) for large quantity of candidates
  • 2 Years minimum experience in strategy definition and roadmap creation and/or deployment
  • Strong experience in highly experienced candidate management
  • Previous experience in global company certification/training deployment program with external provider
  • Proven communication with international programs in a large corporate international company
  • Strong experience in cross-cultural team/people management
  • Comfortable in an international and a multi-cultural environment
  • Multi-Tasking in project mode on multiple projects at once
  • Advanced communication skills with candidates and all levels of the organization internally or externally
  • Advanced powerpoint or other presentation skills for all levels of the organization
