Lab Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all major testing equipment used for polymer, pigment, and color analysis.
• Perform detailed testing methodologies for quality control and product validation.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and analytical testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Work with FTIR, DSC, TGA, XRF, GC, HPLC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, MFI Tester, UTM, and other key laboratory instruments.
• Analyze color strength, dispersion, mechanical properties, weathering resistance, and rheological behavior of masterbatches.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, RoHS, REACH, and other industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain test reports, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to support product development and process optimization.
• Maintain lab safety protocols and implement 5S methodology.

Key Requirements:

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory).
• Experience: 2-3 years in a polymer, pigment, or masterbatch testing laboratory.
• Skills:
• Hands-on experience with major laboratory instruments.
• Strong understanding of polymer properties, pigment formulations, and color matching.
• Ability to analyze and interpret test data accurately.
• Knowledge of ISO, ASTM, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
