Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both development and operations and will focus on automating and streamlining our processes to enhance development workflows and production stability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Management:
   
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Configure and manage servers, databases, and networking for scalable and high-availability systems.
2. Automation & CI/CD:
   
• Develop and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency.
3. Monitoring & Performance:
   
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring system performance, scalability, and reliability.
4. Collaboration:
   
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to build and deliver reliable software.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps, including version control, testing, and deployment standards.
5. Security:
   
• Enhance system security by implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with organizational security policies.
6. Containerization & Orchestration:
   
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
7. Scripting & Configuration:
   
• Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, etc.) for system automation.
• Use configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred:

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
