Vulnerability Management - Desktop Support

Role & responsibilities

This role will undertake able to deal with the overwhelming volume of vulnerabilities in reports, each report includes thousands of flaws and also a number of false results. Work to safeguard the organization's Windows-based IT infrastructure and applications by identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities. The main types of environments includes Win10/11 Operating system vulnerabilities, Application vulnerabilities & Configuration vulnerabilities. The job responsibilities involve conducting regular vulnerability assessments, collaborating with various teams, managing security patches, and continuously improving the vulnerability management processes by mitigating security risks. We support all office and home based customers using a broad variety of mainstream and bespoke applications on Windows 10/Windows 11 operating systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Expert level knowledge and experience of administration and management of Active Directory and group policy management.
• Excellent knowledge in Vulnerability Patching in Desktop, Windows, Applications & Configurations
• Technical & Practical experience of using and administering management tools such as WSUS, Citrix Desktop Director, AppSense and CA Console
• Practical experience administering virtualisation technologies such as HyperV or VMware
• Experience in Vulnerability Management tools especially Qualys
• Knowledge of client side security technology such as Windows firewall, WDAC.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools like Service Now, Remedy
• Good MS Office knowledge specially MS Excel & Power Point
