Cyber Security Trainer

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and teaching, with a passion for adopting American teaching methodologies to deliver engaging and comprehensive courses. This position is ideal for someone eager to help shape the future of cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Delivery: Teach cybersecurity courses covering topics such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and threat management, using interactive teaching methods.
• Curriculum Development: Assist in updating and developing course content to ensure alignment with the latest cybersecurity standards and technologies.
• Student Assessment: Evaluate students through projects, exams, and hands-on labs, providing constructive feedback to foster their learning.
• Classroom Management: Create an interactive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a positive educational experience.
• Mentorship: Offer guidance and career support to students, helping them advance in the field of cybersecurity.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with cybersecurity trends and teaching techniques to continuously enhance the course quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other trainers and administrative staff to ensure smooth course delivery and program management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity. Teaching experience is highly preferred, especially with American teaching methods.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, penetration testing, firewalls, encryption, and incident response.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to tailor teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for mentoring and educating future cybersecurity professionals.

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of c with data structures, Python, and AWS is considered a strong advantage.
